Lift stations tend to generate a lot of inspection and maintenance data - pump run hours, wet well levels, alarm history - but that data often stays siloed in a SCADA system or a maintenance log, disconnected from capital planning.
Connecting lift-station inspection and maintenance history to asset records makes it possible to see which stations show recurring issues, which components are approaching the end of a typical service life, and which stations carry the highest consequence if they fail - factors that belong in a risk-based capital plan, not just a maintenance queue.
This does not replace an engineer's evaluation of a specific station. It gives the engineer a documented starting point instead of a blank page.
